RADISSON Hotel recently played hosts to 34 students from the Laksamana College of Business (LCB) along with the Hospitality Lecturer of the college, Maria McCorrister.
The main objective of the visit was to gain a better understanding of hotel operations such as the organisational structure, monitoring and measuring systems, as well as an understanding of the hotel’s facilities and its unique service culture for the guests.
The students were welcomed by Radisson Hotel’s General Manager, Peter Feran.
Also present were the hotel’s Human Resources Manager Nisa Abdul Rahman and other staff members.
The welcoming session was followed with a brief presentation on the hotel’s organisational structure, as well as the roles and responsibilities of the hotel’s personnel.
During the visit, the students also had the opportunity to tour around the hotel, as well as observe the facilities and services available.
Being the only international brand hotel in the country, Radisson Hotel carries a brand that is focussed on the art of hospitality with its caring, sharing and daring service philosophy.
Meanwhile, training, coaching and staff development programmes based on the ‘Brand Standards’ are implemented by the hotel for their staff members to ensure continuous improvement in the delivery of customer service.
