THE Persatuan Warganegara Malaysia (PWM) in Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday afternoon donated $5,000 worth of food and water to flood victims in Limbang, transported via a convoy of 4×4 vehicles.
The convoy was led by President of PWM, James Lee, and the handover was overseen by the Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Datuk Awang Sahak bin Awang Salleh, and other members of PWM.
A briefing of the affected areas and the current situation also took place, attended by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, YB Dato Sri Dr James Dawos Mamit, and a member of the Batu Danau State Assembly, YB Paulus Palu Ngumbang.
Lee expressed his heartfelt gratitude to PWM members and the public for helping to ease the suffering of flood victims.
