WITH the conclusion of an interview session last week, Progresif announced that they are well on their way to achieving their goal of doubling its workforce in the next year through the creation of almost 200 jobs, and are committed to employing Bruneians to make up 95 per cent of their staff by the end of 2016.
The interviews focused on front line sales staff for a retail expansion announced last year and took place over two days, during which over 100 applicants were interviewed resulting in 75 vacancies filled.
Chief Sales Officer, Bob Gill said, “We are looking to provide Brunei with a retail experience unlike anything they have seen before, and that experience begins with finding people with the right skills and attitude that align with our brand essence of being progressive.”
Progresif’s Head of Human Capital, Mohammad Fauzi bin Mosdaram said, “All new staff will be taken through an extensive training process to provide the skills and knowledge of our products and services to help provide a quality of customer service that our customers deserve, and that we want them to come to expect from us as a brand.”
The volume of hires in sales are the highest for any single department, however, hiring has been ongoing across the business since the appointment of a Senior Management team last year. To date, some 80 new roles have been identified, resulting in more than 150 interviews since the beginning of the new year.
