THE Brunei Edutainment Wonderland (BEW) is set to take place at the Jerudong Park Country Club (JPCC) Amphitheatre’s open court area from November 30 to December 21, and organisers promise that the three-week event is going to be bigger and better than before.
To be featured in this edition of BEW is the NBT Jurassic Adventure – a Jurassic-themed attraction that will transport eager visitors back in time to over 65 million years ago when dinosaurs walked the earth.
The theme park will feature life-sized static and animatronic dinosaur replicas set in the backdrop of their natural habitat. Visitors will also be able to learn more about dinosaurs in the attraction.
“Not only that, visitors are welcome to live out their dreams to be a researcher excavating for fossils and, if lucky, they might even spot raptors prowling around the theme park looking for their next prey,” said one of the organisers.
In addition, there will also be the exciting, interactive and educational Nature Encounter room, an attraction which is sure to be enjoyed by those who are brave enough to experience Mother Nature’s wrath. The room will place visitors in numerous worst case scenario situations such as a flood, a burning building and so forth.
For those who prefer to challenge their mind rather than their body, there is the Magic Lee Maze.
And for a small entry fee, visitors can put their puzzle-solving skills to the test inside the Abandoned Asylum and The Great Art Thief, which is just two of the rooms that will feature its own unique challenges and scenarios.
BWE is also proud to announce the return of Brunei’s very own football freestyle community, the Brunei Football Freestyle Footwork’s (Brunei F3) Panna KO, and a freestyle competition that invites local football enthusiasts to showcase their skills as they battle it out to be crowned the Panna KO King.
Other highlights to look out for at the won-derland will include a free health check and inte-ractive display by the Health Promotion Centre, a Cosplay competition and the Road Safety Coun-cil awareness campaign.
BEW is an educational theme park consisting of entertaining and educational activities, such as sports competitions and skills camps, where families and friends can spend a meaningful time together during the festive end-of-year holiday season.
This year’s BEW will be open from 2.30pm to 11pm from Monday to Friday and will also welcome visitors from 9.30am to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday.
