TWO children were pronounced dead after they were brought to the Accident and Emergency Department of the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait.
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) received a call regarding the case at 12.05am yesterday.
Initial investigations indicated that the two siblings, a two-year-old girl and a four-year-old boy, were suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting when they were brought to the hospital.
The cause of their deaths is being investigated.
In a separate case, a 49-year-old local man was pronounced dead after he was found unconscious in a car at a parking lot near the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah School. The Berakas Police Station received a call regarding the incident at 7.43am yesterday.
The unconscious man was brought to the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The cause of death is being investigated but sources said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the case.
