KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) – Police have arrested a local man suspected to be peddling drugs around the capital city and confiscated various drugs weighing a total of 1.17kg and worth RM95,000.
Sentul District Police chief ACP R Munusamy said the 39-year-old suspect was arrested at Metro Prima, Kepong on Friday, at around 3pm, and checks on the suspect found drugs including Ecstacy, Syabu and Eramin 5 weighing 23.48g.
“The police then checked the suspect’s house in Vista Magna Metro Prima and found Ecstacy, Syabu, Erimin 5, Ketamine and ganja weighing 1.15kg, which were kept in a box.
“We also found a digital weighing scale and small sized plastic packets believed to be used for reselling the drugs…a Toyota Wish car was also seized,” he told reporters.
Munusamy said the suspect who was renting the house, was unemployed and had been running the drug distributing business on his own since a month ago.
He said the suspect also tested positive for methamphetamine and amphatamine.
