The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and its departments continued the nightly Dikir Maulud Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) yesterday at the Kampong Batu Apoi Mosque, Temburong District.
The event began with mass Maghrib prayer led by the Imam of Kampong Batu Apoi Mosque, followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah. It continued with Dikir Assalamualaika and Dikir Syarafil Anam by the dikir group from Radio Television Brunei (RTB), PMO.
The event continued with mass Isyak prayer, Dikir Marhaban, recitation of Doa to seek blessings and protection from Allah the Almighty, followed by the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
The event concluded with the handing over of Waqaf by Deputy Minister (Security and Law) at the PMO Dato Seri Paduka Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu to Kampong Batu Apoi Mosque representatives.
Permanent Secretary, officers and staff of PMO and its departments were also among the guests present. The event is one of PMO’s annual activities to enliven the celebration of Maulidur Rasul and to deepen bonds with the mosque’s congregation.
The ceremony was co-hosted by the Office of Wawasan Brunei and the Manpower Planning and Employment Council with the cooperation of RTB.
