THE suspect linked to the Jerudong petrol station robbery yesterday had his case remitted to the Intermediate Court. The case was fixed for further mention on October 20.
Defence counsel Rozaiman Rahman asked for a two weeks’ adjournment to consider the defendant’s plea, which was granted by Judge Pg Hajah Hanani Pg Hj Metussain.
Haji Muhammad Dhiyaulhaq bin Haji Ariffin, 20, was arrested on September 17 at his home at about 1.50am. He was released on bail by the High Court.
He is alleged to have stolen $3,900 from the petrol station, armed with a machete and caused fear of instant hurt to the station’s 21-year-old Indonesian employee.
