Petanque players in Thailand for 1st Asian Boules Confederation Championship

THREE national petanque players of the Brunei Darussalam Petanque Federation (BPF) yesterday left the country to compete in the 1st Asian Boules Confederation Championship 2017 at Thonburi University in Bangkok, Thailand which will be held from tomorrow to December 12.

Surtini Haji Abidin, Norhani Haji Juna and Khairul Bariah Khairul Anuar will represent Brunei in the Women’s Trio team category.

The President of BPF will attend the congress tomorrow. Present to bid the team farewell was Vice President of BPF, Haji Abdul Karim bin Haji Ahmad, along with committee members and members of BPF.

The tournament is organised by the Asian Petanque Confederation under International Petanque Federation (FIPJP) and hosted by the Thailand Petanque Association.
