A PROGRAMME designed to instil and inculcate patriotism in the youth continued yesterday at the Business School.
Organised by the Information Department of the Prime Minister’s Office, the briefing was attended by around 100 students and staff of the school.
The briefing itself was facilitated by Hj Dayang bin Hj Kasim, a senior officer of the department’s Nationhood Unit.
Geared towards an understanding of the concept of love for the Sultan and country, the programme is specifically aimed at students across the country enrolled at all levels of education, from primary school to university.
The programme covers topics such as a positive awareness and understanding of the national anthem and flag with its core values adhering to the Malay Islamic Monarchy philosophy.
The briefing began with the singing of the national anthem by those in attendance, led by Hj Dayang bin Hj Kasim. A video clip covering the importance of the national flag then ensued, followed by a quiz on nationhood.
The programme has also been held at the Sengkurong Sixth Form Centre and Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab Secondary School.
