THE infamous parang-wielding man pleaded not guilty to two charges yesterday, and will head to trial in the first week of March.
Md Redzman bin Roslan, 28, denied a charge of the unlawful possession of two weapons (a wooden rod and machete) at the vicinity of Mahathdir Supermarket in Kg Tanjong Nangka at about 6pm on January 4.
He also denied assaulting his wife with a wooden rod.
DPP Aiman Zakaria informed the court of having seven witnesses, while the defendant has none.
Chief Magistrate Muhammed Faisal released the defendant with restrictive conditions on a bail of $7,000 or one local surety pending the hearing.
