THE first branch of Pancake House International in Brunei opened yesterday in Kiulap. Originating in the Philippines in 1970, Pancake House International has a total of 114 branches in its home country and six in Malaysia.
The branch is located at No 1 Tian & Chuan Building, Lot 22082, Kg Kiulap. The guest of honour, the Philippines Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Nestor Ochoa officiated the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Chairman of the Pancake House, Pg Anak Hj Jaafar ibni Al-Marhum Pg Pemancha Pg Anak Hj Mohamed Alam also joined the ambassador in cutting the ribbon.
With 40 years of experience in making pancakes and other classic dishes from the Pancake House International Group, patrons can enjoy a large variety of food, where each dish, according to Pancake House International, uses fresh and premium ingredients which are “cooked with passion” and served generously by the restaurant’s staff.
The restaurant is open from 7.30am to 10pm, Mondays to Sundays.
