Paintball team France bound for championship

THE Leakside Jokerz Aisawan Paintball Team (LJA), which will be representing Brunei Darussalam in The Millennium Series World Cup Paris – Chantilly 2017 Paintball Championships taking place in France from September 15-17, was handed the national flag in a ceremony held Sunday morning at the Paintball Arena @ Jerudong (PAJ).

The guest of honour officiating the ceremony was the Acting Deputy Director of Youth and Sports, Mariam binti Ulat.

President of the Brunei Darussalam National Paintball Association (PANTAS), Pengiran Shahminan bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahim, in his welcoming address said LJA’s participation in the France competition – the largest paintball tournament in the world – can sketch a new history in the development of paintball in the country.

LJA will be the first local team to participate in the Paris-Chantilly paintball championships.
