THE Australian High Commission, in collaboration with the Australian Trade Commission, will hold the Australia Future Unlimited Education Exhibition and Seminar on November 15 and 16. The event will be held at the Badi’ah Hotel, Jalan Tutong, Bandar Seri Begawan. Exhibition hours are from 1.30pm to 5pm on Saturday, November 15 and from 9am to 4.30pm on Sunday, November 16.
According to a press release, representatives from the Australian National University, Curtin University, Griffith University, Monash University, the University of Adelaide , the University of Melbourne, the University of New South Wales and the University of Western Sydney will be available during the exhibition and seminar sessions. Students and parents will be able to obtain first-hand information on study options, course programmes and living in Australia, as well as seek an assessment of students’ readiness to apply to study at one of these Australian institutions. Students are encouraged to bring with them their recent result slip if they are seeking such an assessment.
A seminar session with speakers from Monash University, University of Western Sydney, University of New South Wales, Australian National University and the Australian Department of Education will be held concurrently on November 15 from 1.30pm to 5pm. Seminar topics will range from the benefits of studying at a particular institution through to more specific presentations on medical programmes and scholarships available for professional development.
