I AM writing on behalf of the villagers of Jalan Panchong Kuala Ungar Tutong. This road needs urgent attention. It has not been maintained by the contractor for a few months now and even the Ketua Kampung who uses the road everyday doesn’t seem to care about the road.
We have to write complaints after complaints in the newspapers and then probably action would be taken. Why can’t they automatically fix the road when it’s damaged?
There are potholes every 200 metres due to heavy vehicles using them and we have to evade every single one of them so that we would not end up damaging our car.
To make things worse, it’s rainy season now and the holes are getting deeper every single day.
One part of the road has the largest hole on both sides where we have no choice but to pass through it and end up scratching our car’s undercarriage.
Why not the Road Inspection Division Enforcement – RIDE – have a check on this terrible road condition? Please take this matter seriously.
