FIFTEEEN Nursing and Midwifery students from Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences (PAPRSB IHS) departed for Japan yesterday for the JENESYS 2.0 Project for Medical/Nursing School. The entourage will be in Japan until October 2.
The programme aims to introduce medical issues and advanced medical technology of Japan to students in the field of medicine and nursing.
The delegation will learn about the management of medicine/drug, mobile consultation service and general medical system by visiting medical schools as well as hospitals.
During the programme, participants will also have the advantage of learning and experiencing the Japanese traditional and pop culture through cultural exchange programmes. Participants are expected to find their own concept of “Cool Japan” and to impart their learning after returning home.
Another objective of the JENESYS 2.0 is to nurture friendship between the Government of Japan and invited countries as well as to revitalise the Japanese economy.
