DAVID Atthowe, also known as the Nomadic Lion, continues his 2500km “Walk of Borneo” expedition to Kuala Belait.
David started his walk yesterday morning from Seria and arrived at the International School Brunei (ISB) in Kuala Belait around 1pm. The students greeted the Nomadic Lion excitedly when he arrived. Students and teachers grabbed the opportunity to take photos with him, and some even asked him to sign autographs on their bags and shirts.
The “Walk of Borneo” expedition is aimed at raising awareness on the environment and its people who live in harmony with nature. A documentary of their journey will describe the current situation of the local environment and the organisations working to protect it.
David will continue his journey today and will be leaving Brunei Darussalam to enter Sarawak through Miri.
