I WANT to convey my dissatisfaction and frustration regarding the new requirement for scholarship applications this year.
For example, one of the changes for PhD applicants is to obtain ‘Cemerlang’ (Grade A) in the ‘Prestasi’ for three consecutive years and which must be obtained before turning 35 years old.
From our experience, it takes quite a long time for any new officer to get ‘Cemerlang’.
Most of new officers are given Grade C despite working so hard.
We will accept the new requirement if it is really achievable but the reality is it isn’t.
I really hope the relevant authorities will look into this matter seriously and review the “not-so-logical” requirement.
