THE Fire and Rescue Department at Old Airport has a new perimeter fence.
It looks great from afar. On closer inspection, even a layman like myself can notice that the painting at the bottom part is uneven, the column tops are not level and some have pipes sticking out and the columns are too close to each other.
This is the type of quality one gets when all is done in a rush.
How can a project like this be accepted the way it is?
We have to beautify Brunei by doing not just the obvious, but also through aesthetic construction. In this case the government money is not being well spent.
