THE Faculty of Business and Management Sciences of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) yesterday held a ‘Networking Dinner’ for organisers and presenters from different countries who are attending the Thematic Workshop on Islamic Financial Literacy 2015.
The guest of honour was the Deputy Minister of Education, Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail.
The workshop was co-organised by the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, UNISSA, Islamic Research and Training Institute (IRTI) and Group of Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in collaboration with Centre for Islamic Banking, Finance Management (CIBFM) and Authoriti Monetari Brunei Darussalam (AMBD). The presenters are from Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Japan, United States, United Kingdom, Bosnia Herzegovina and Nigeria.
The attendees exchanged ideas for designing a better Islamic financial literacy project in the future for the benefit of the Muslims from a socio-economic perspective.
The event also saw a welcoming speech delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences of UNISSA, Dr Fadzliwati binti Mohiddin.
