FOLLOWING continuous efforts to uphold the cooperation between residential communities and the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), a Neighbourhood Watch operation was carried out last Thursday in the Subok and Belimbing areas.
The night operation involved 25 RBPF personnel collaborating with nine members of the Subok and Belimbing Neighbourhood Watch. The operation was led by Acting Officer in Charge of the Central Police Station, Inspector Mohd Faizal Iswandi Ali.
As crime rate fluctuates in and around the area, the RBPF agreed that the collaboration between police personnel and the local communities would bode well for villages and Mukims.
The operation begun with a briefing held by Inspector Mohd Faizal at the Belimbing Community Hall before carrying on to patrol several residential areas.
The late-night patrol involved two police vans and several other patrol vehicles, including those carrying the Village Head of Kg Subok and Penghulu of Mukim Kota Batu.
