THE football event of the Brunei Darussalam National Games 2014 (SKBD) between Brunei- Muara District and the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council ended with the share of the spoils following a 1-1 draw at the Berakas Sports Complex last night.
Abdul Azizi bin Ali Rahman’s breakthrough looked enough to fire the army men into victory but defender Reduan bin Hj Petara rescued Brunei-Muara two minutes from time.
Meanwhile, the Institute of Higher Learning (IPT) and the Tutong District ended goalless at the Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex.
The football action continues tonight (Nov 22) with the Belait District taking on the Royal Brunei Police Force Sports Council and the Temburong District playing RB FC.
There were also futsal events contested for both Group A and B with the Association of Banks taking on Temburong District, Brunei Shell Joint Venture against Royal Brunei Armed Forces Sports Council and the Belait District against Brunei Muara District.
