THE Ministry of Health (MoH), through the Human Resource Development Section of the Department of Administration and Finance, began its two-day team building course yesterday at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park.
The team building course involves around 26 officers from the Ministry of Health, including assistant administrators and office supervisors, who will be learning about positive work traits, time management, teamwork and basic communication skills.
On hand to facilitate the course as an invited consultant is Malai Haji Abdullah bin Malai Haji Othman.
Before the course itself began, Abd Walid bin Haji Matassan, the Director of Administration and Finance, MoH, welcomed the participants with opening remarks. An ice-breaking session then followed before going onto team building activities.
As a statement from the MoH reads, “It is hoped that by taking part in courses such as these, the participants will be able to attain the right attitude, skills and knowledge, as well as understand the relation between teamwork and problem-solving in decision-making.”
The statement added that they hope participants will be able to establish an image and identity while also adapting with continuous learning improvement and change.
