THE Ministry of Education (MoE) will be organising The Century Run, an event organised in conjunction with 100 Years of Formal Education and the 24th Teacher’s Day celebration on January 11, 2015 at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien in the capital.
This was announced by the Director of Co-Curriculum Education, Pg Suhaimi Pg Hj Bakar at a press conference that took place at the Department of Co-Curriculum office.
Pg Suhaimi disclosed that the run is open to the public including teachers and students.
The registration fees are $30, $25 and $20 depending on categories.
Interested participants can log on to the website www.thecenturyrun.com or through Instagram @THE-CENTURY_RUN for registration form. Fees can be paid at the Department of Co-Curriculum offices in the four districts.
The event will feature a donation collection project where each participant will be given a donation card to be filled and handed over to the organiser before the run starts.
Proceeds from the donation will be divided between Ministry of Education Sports/Social Club Activities and Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam.
