DELEGATES of the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) International Conference last night attended a farewell dinner at the Tarindak d’Polo Restaurant, Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club in Jerudong organised by the Ministry of Education (MoE).
Hosting the event was Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Yusoff bin Haji Ismail, Acting Minister of Education.
Also present were Dr Haji Junaidi bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Permanent Secretary (Core Education); Dr Hajah Anita Binurul Zahrina binti Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Wijaya Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Aziz, Permanent Secretary (Higher Education); heads of department and senior officers at the Ministry of Education.
The event was enlivened by a number of cultural performances from government and private schools, colleges and institutions in Brunei Darussalam.
The dinner was held to welcome and celebrate working paper presenters from within the country as well as international participants, and for members of the committee who have worked tirelessly in executing their duties and responsibilities successfully. The conference began on November 27 and will end today under the theme of ‘First Steps to Nurturing Future Leaders’.
