AN ARRAY of mixed reactions from the public flooded the social media after Telekom Brunei Sdn Bhd (TelBru) announced its new broadband pricing yesterday.
At the Telekom Brunei Berhad (TelBru) ICT Forum 2015, Lim Ming Soon, Chief Marketing Officer of TelBru, explained about the new pricing which is set to commence on March 1.
Lim said, “It depends of the usage pattern. We have come up with the various packages and have lowered the prices.
“If you are paying $65 now, you will be forking out only $39 once the new plan kicks in.
“If the 45GB of data isn’t enough, you can top up.”
Lim also touched on the latest development of FTTH, saying “To make sure that our customers have better connection, we have already embarked on FTTH and currently 50 to 60 per cent of our broadband customers are on FTTH.”
“We are on phase two of FTTH and moving towards Sengkurong and Jerudong.
“Tutong and Kuala Belait will be next. The stability of the Internet will not be a problem in the future”
