TO FURTHER glorify and enliven the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), a troupe from the Ministry of Religious Affairs visited several mosques for the 12 nightly Dikir Syarafil Anam religious gathering.
The visits aim to foster closer ties among the ministry’s officers, staff and worshippers, as well as to remember the birth of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It also aims to establish unity and commitment amongst the ministry’s entire workforce and to involve them in various activities organised by the ministry.
On Friday, December 26, the group, led by the Acting Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, congregated at Kg Kupang mosque in Tutong. Also in attendance were the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Haji Mohd ‘Abdoh bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Salam and Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, as well as directors, senior officers, staff at the ministry and other congregants. A religious talk was deliverd by an Education Officer at the Islamic Dakwah Centre, Haji Md Ali bin Haji Md Said.
Last night, the troupe visited Utama Muhammad Salleh mosque in Bangar town, Temburong. Present as the chief guest was the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Haji Mohd ‘Abdoh bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abdul Salam, along with directors, senior officers and staff at the ministry.
A religious talk was also delivered by a Mosque Affairs Officer at Utama Muhammad Salleh mosque, Awg Mohammad Zahid Zakwan bin Haji Mohammad Said. A Doa Dikir and Doa to save the nation and ruler was also read. A similar gathering will also be held on December 30 at Muhammad Jamalul Alam mosque in Belait after the Maghrib prayer.
