THE Brunei Edutainment Wonderland was launched last evening at the Jerudong Park and Country Club (JPCC) Amphitheatre Open Court area by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Hazair Haji Abdullah.
Organised by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, The Brunei Edutainment Wonderland is an educational theme park comprising educational and entertaining activities such as sports competitions and skills camps.
D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd’s Organising Chairman cum Advisor, Pengiran Salleh Ab Rahman as well as Managing Director Jackson Ting were present.
The main highlight of the Edutainment event will be the NBT Jurassic Adventure, which gives visitors a taste of the Jurassic period that dates back 65 million years.
It’s equipped with dinosaur replicas set in the backdrop of their natural habitat. This essentially makes it the first such theme park.
The night also saw the handing over of 1,100 tickets for the NBT Jurassic Adventure to the Ministry of Culture of Youth and Sports to be distributed to orphans under the DANA Kebajikan.
Meanwhile, Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al Hajjah Maryam also received 200 tickets courtesy of Persatuan Warga Malaysia Brunei (PWM), and the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) received 300 courtesy of charitable association, Ji Dao Ge.
Other edutainment activities and experience include, MagicLee Maze, Panna KO and Freestyle Competition as well as the KFC and Fitness Zone 3-on-3 Street Ball challenge.
The Brunei Edutainment Wonderland will be open to public until December 21 from 2.30pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday and 9.30am to 11pm Saturday and Sunday.
