IPOH (Bernama) – Memorising the Al-Quran and studying diligently are the secret behind Nurunnuha Muhammad Ismi’s success in scoring 11 As in the Form Three Assessment (PT3).
According to Nurunnuha, a student of Sekolah Raja Perempuan Taayah, reading the Al-Quran at the break of dawn was the best time for her and this was followed by revision of other subjects. “I would wake up at 5.30am as at this time it is easy to memorise the Al-Quran. When we memorise the Al-Quran, learning would come easy for the other subjects,” she said when met at the school. In addition, she said the blessings of parents and teachers were also very important in excelling in examinations.
Nurunnuha, the third child among eight siblings, added that advice and encouragement from her mother spurred her to do her best.
“I hope my parents are proud of my success today,” she said.
Another student of the school, Nur Basyirah Mortaza who scored 10 As said apart from hard work and prayers she paid full attention in class.
