LONDON (dpa) – Manchester United will learn on Monday the extent of an injury to midfielder Daley Blind, with fears the Dutchman could be out for up to six weeks.
The 24-year-old suffered a suspected medial ligament injury while playing for Holland in their 6-0 win over Latvia on Sunday and is due to have a scan on Monday.
“I’m rather negative,” the BBC quoted Holland coach Guus Hiddink as saying. “I think it’s a medial ligament that is twisted. It might be a rupture.”
