MALPPY.COM, one of the online shopping platforms in Brunei, yesterday launched a Muslimah line of clothing at its Fashion Pop Up Festival held at the ground floor of iCentre.
Since its launch on April 5, 2013, Malppy.com offers some of the latest fashion wears at affordable prices. This year, there more reasons to visit the website as it added a new range of Muslimah clothing.
There are currently more than 400 Muslimah clothing available on the website.
According to Simon Soo, founder of Malppy.com, “We saw a potential in the market and wanted to promote a new category of Muslimah clothing for the local market after we found out that 65 per cent of our customers are local Muslims.”
The designs of the Muslimah clothings, he revealed, came from Indonesia and Malaysia at affordable prices.
To support local designers, he highlighted that Malppy.com is providing an avenue for them to put their products on sale at the website. There are currently items from Haj Zainal Batik clothes and Laviss eyewears.
He also hopes to collaborate with more local designers to help build up their brands online.
“Malppy.com is an iCentre incubator supported by the Brunei Economic Development Board and we stress on four points for our products: Quality, variety, fashionable and free delivery.
