MALPPY, an iCentre incubate, has achieved another milestone by cementing its collaboration with Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) through the launch of its latest online payment service, ‘e-Bayar’ and ‘e-Tunai’ on malppy.com.
Malppy.com is an online fashion and lifestyle store which launched on April 2013, offering customers a way to shop online for a variety of quality products, delivered free to customers’ doorsteps with no minimum purchase limit.
With the collaboration, BIBD customers can now use e-Tunai services beyond local stores. Customers are also able to enjoy the highly popular QR code e-Tunai scanning using smart phones to pay for purchases on Malppy.com.
For customers who do not have the BIBD mobile app, they can choose to pay for online purchases using e-Bayar, a new online live cash transferring system that connects online bank accounts and can approve purchase transactions right on the spot.
As Malppy explained in a statement, their aim is “to provide customers with a complete e-commerce shopping experience and this venture with BIBD will further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the online payments”.
“Malppy.com is among the first e-stores to have both e-Tunai and e-Bayar readily available,” they continued.
“This convenient mode of payment aims to provide ease and enjoyment with online shopping for all BIBD and Malppy customers. It is simple to operate and free to use with exceptional security.” Adding on, Malppy said, “This collaboration with BIBD is greatly seen as a major achievement as this type of modern payment method could be a feature to our economic development in driving online and mobile-based transaction which has proven to be very popular in other nations.”
