THE Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) of Malaysia’s Ministry of Agriculture & Agro-Based Industry is set to make a triumphant return to the Consumer Fair when it takes place for the 15th time at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas from January 28 to February 1.
Seeking to join forces with even more distributors in Brunei Darussalam and eager for greater brand awareness among the public, FAMA will be taking up 10 booths at the Consumer Fair to showcase its range of sweet and savoury Halal food products. Previous FAMA offerings at the Fair have included the likes of biscuits, cakes, and convenience foods.
Formed in 1965, FAMA monitors, coordinates, controls and develops product marketing of Malaysian agriculture, including import and export.
Agricultural products under FAMA service’s field include vegetables, fruits, grain and herbal as well as livestock and aquaculture.
A variety of activities have also been planned for the five-day event. These include the grand lucky draw, the NBT Dinosaur Journey theme park, eating competitions, beauty demonstrations, and mascot appearances.
The 15th Consumer Fair will run from 10am until 10pm daily.
A free shuttle bus service will be provided from the Indoor Stadium car park area.
The upcoming Consumer Fair is organised by D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd and sanctioned by the Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources.
