LIVEWIRE recently concluded the first ‘Bright Ideas’ workshop for 2015 to cater to those interes-ted on how to start and manage a business.
Mohd Fadhilullah Tudun Hj Hassan, LiveWIRE Brunei Business Counsellor and facilitator for the workshop explained that the aim of the two-day programme was to provide a comprehensive programme of business ideas and enterprise awareness that would enable candidates to analyse the local economy and identify business opportunities.
The two-day workshop covered topics such as – being successful, finding business ideas, starting up a business, personal finance, health, safety & environment and also included a simulation exercise that taught participants about cash flow and profit/loss statements.
The Bright Ideas workshop is popular among its attendees because of the way the workshop is conducted and delivered.
The facilitator used accelerating learning techniques and the use of fun and games to create a conducive-learning environment, which enabled participants to learn faster and more efficiently. Graduates of the workshop will be eligible to register for the intensive ‘Become A Successful Owner Manager’ business planning and management training programme which runs from March 16-19.
Another upcoming programme is the second and final session of the LiveWIRE Business Plan Series on February 6 and 13, and the first LiveWIRE Business Awards Clinic to cater for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially those interested to participate in the LiveWIRE Business Awards 2014-2015.
