A SEVEN-YEAR-OLD boy from Kuala Belait yesterday displayed his sheer strength by pulling a Toyota Avanza 100 metres along Jalan Parak in Kg Panaga.
Muhammad Aiman bin Mujibur Rahman, a Year Two student of Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Primary School, who weighs just 32 kilogrammes, got the idea of pulling heavy objects after watching a ‘Guinness Book Of World Records’ television show.
The boy’s father, Mujibur Rahman bin Haji Mohd Ibrahim, only became aware of his strength a few weeks ago when their vehicle could not start at a roadside.
He said: “After I realised that the vehicle would not start, I told my son to call for his mother and siblings to help push the car.
“As I was behind the steering wheel, I noticed that my vehicle was moving. That’s when I realised my son was pushing the car.”
Mujibur Rahman recently brought his son to the Kuala Belait branch of Radio Televisyen Brunei (RTB) Station to show what he could do.
“I was very surprised when Aiman was able to do it again in front of the RTB crew,” he added.
According to Mujibur Rahman, his son intends to pull even heavier vehicles and ultimately a helicopter, as he has aspirations to one day become a military pilot.
The boy’s parents said they fully support his aspirations and hoped to one day see their son participating in competitions abroad to test his abilities.
