LAKSAMANA College of Business, one of the leading private tertiary education institutions in the country, yesterday held a “The Strongest Youth Challenge” competition.
The challenge, held in conjunction with Brunei’s 9th National Youth Day, was aimed at reaching out to youths aged 30 and below.
The theme for the competition was, “Together towards withstanding 21st Century Challenges”.
The Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Datin Paduka Hajah Adina binti Othman officiated the game which saw around 40 participants battling it out in various activities such as Tyre Flip, Farmer’s Walk and Vehicle Pull. Representatives from the various sponsoring gyms judged each activity and selected the winners.
The challenge opened up opportunities for youths to gather and interact among themselves, while fostering good relationships. It was hoped that the activity will motivate the youths to further contribute towards national development.
