FIVE female riders from the Ladies of Harley (LoH) Brunei Chapter recently visited several underprivileged households in the Kampong Putat area to give donations.
The first house they visited belonged to a single mother with three children, while the two other houses belonged to senior citizens who were living alone.
The donations came in the form of cash and daily necessities such as rice, cooking oil and salt. The donations were handed over by the Head of LoH Brunei Chapter, Dk Siti Redzaimi binti Pg Haji Ahmad.
Also present during the visits was YB Awang Haji Jumat bin Akim, a member of the Legislative Council, who is also the Village Head of Kampong Putat.
It was the first LoH Charity Ride aimed at providing aid to the underprivileged to ease their burden.
The donations were collected by members of the Harley Owners Group Brunei Chapter and LoH Brunei Chapter.
