KOLEJ Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) recently held a cleaning campaign at its premises as it follows in the footsteps of a massive campaign launched by the Municipal Board to commemorate the 44th anniversary of the renaming of the capital from Bandar Brunei to Bandar Seri Begawan
Organised by the Community Service Committee, Student Representatives Council of KUPU SB, the campaign opened with the reading of Zikir Asma Al-Husna and was followed by the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah.
A Doa Selamat recitation was later led by Jalaluddin Jamil bin Mohd Khusairi Azam, a Year 3 student of Bachelor of Religious Teaching (Syariah).
The event aimed to strengthen ties among lecturers, officers, staff and students of KUPU SB, and at the same time instil a sense of responsibility on the need to maintain the cleanliness of our surrounding.
