Kota Ranger moved three points clear at the top of the DST Premier League following a narrow 1-0 victory over Setia Perdana at the Track and Field of the Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex last night.
Kota Ranger’s Pengiran Mohd Saharul Nizam bin Pengiran Haji Tuah struck in the 31st minute, propelling his side to a second successive win in the league and their first clean sheet this season.
They will be guaranteed top spot at least for a few days until either or both sides surrender their brief winning run in the top-of-the-table clash between newcomers Tabuan U18 and Kasuka FC.
The DST Premier League resumes next Tuesday when Panchor Murai take on fifth-placed BSRC at the Tutong Sports Complex.
