THE KFC staff were recently feted to an annual dinner. The event began with a welcoming speech from Vice-President, Del Goh, who commented on KFC’s commitment for 2015 to focus on product quality and speed of service.
The theme of the annual dinner was ‘Bollywood Night’. In between lucky draws and games, there were also award presentations.
The RCC 2014 team were given an appreciation award for their effort in the recent annual Regional Champs Challenge competition that took place in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. The competition held in November saw Cherry Dela Cruz, Restaurant Manager of KFC Sengkurong, receiving the Best Manager award.
Best employee awards and long service awards were also given during the dinner. Norlyn Rufo who has been with KFC for 30 years, Adriana Abdullah who has been with KFC for 25 years and Hajah Norjidah who has been with the company for 20 years received the long service awards during the event.

Best costume award went to Noorazlan bin Zaini for the male category and Azizah binti Ahmad won the best dressed female, both of whom are from KFC Gadong Central.
The night also saw a graduation ceremony for 19 students of Leading a Restaurant (LAR) and Leading a Shift (LAS) programmes. LAR and LAS are development programmes that all KFC staff around the world need to attend as part of their job requirement. The programmes aim to educate managers on business strategies to help them achieve business results, learn new skills, understand the business and develop their leadership skills.
