THE Co-ed Modified Pitch Softball Carnival organised by Wanderers and Pasadena Softball Clubs in cooperation with Chikara and Kensei Softball Teams concluded yesterday evening at the Chikara and Kensei Softball Field of the Jerudong Polo and Riding Club.
KenChi emerged champion of the tournament after defeating D&G 13-7 in the final match. WanderPasa came in third place and Kuwahara trailed in fourth place.
The Best Hitter award went to Rahimi Hj Md Yassin of KenChi, Pg Khairul Iskandar Pg Hj Matusin of D&G won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award and Sahari Hj Majid of KenChi bagged the Most RBIs (Runs Brought In) award.
Hj Suhardi Hj Saripudin was awarded the Best Pitcher, Best Rookie was awarded to Radin Noryoul Afiqah Ibnu Abdullah and Best Veteran Player award went to Nulhakim Hj Adanan.
A special award; the Best Plate Umpire award was given to Rosaini of KenChi.
Muda @ Jamil Hj Ahmad, co-founder and manager for Wanderers and Pasadena Softball Club, Secretary of Softball in Brunei Darussalam Amateur Softball and Baseball Association (BASBA) presented the prizes to the winners.
