SOME 30 personnel from the Traffic Control and Investigation Department (JSKLL) with the support of officers from other departments within the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) bled for a good cause yesterday at the JSKLL Hall.
Nearly 30 pints of blood were collected in the two-hour long event spearheaded by JSKLL.
Also supporting the event were the Acting Director of JSKLL and Acting OCPD of Brunei- Muara.
According to JSKLL, the drive was part of the department’s initiative to give back to the community, especially during the festive season.
“We aim to organise two-to-three blood donation drives every year to support the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital blood bank, as we all know, giving blood can save lives,” said a spokesperson from JSKLL.
