GRADUATES gathered at the 9th James Hon’s UK Application Day yesterday to meet representatives from 20 leading British institutions at the Rizqun International Hotel.
The visitors, mostly ‘A’ Level graduates as well as those who wished to further their studies, lined up at various booths to enquire on course fees, lodging, the area’s standard of living, as well as courses and programmes offered.
Among the 20 booths were University of Exeter; University of Surrey; Loughborough University; University of East Anglia; University of Birmingham; University of Newcastle; University of Essex; Queen Mary London; Queen’s University Belfast; Keele University; Brunel University London; University of Northhampton; University of Hull; Northumbria University; Birmingham City University; University College Birmingham; University of Sunderland, INTO Partnership, International Study Centre and Laksamana College of Business.
Visitors could enquire on foundation courses, vocational courses, postgraduate degree and undergraduate degree in fields such as Actuarial / Mathematics /Statistics; Hospitality / Tourism; Art and Design; Business and Administration; Civil, Chemical and Other Engineering; Communications and Media; Computer Science; Creative Arts; Economics; Education Studies; Electronic and Electrical Engineering etc.
To shed more light on the programmes and courses they offer, the afternoon session featured talks from University of Sunderland, International Study Group, Brunel University, Loughborough University, University of Exeter, University of Surrey, University of East Anglia, and University College Birmingham.
