JAKE Gyllenhaal has joined the cast of ‘Let it Snow’.
The 33-year-old actor will appear in an adaptation of ‘The Man Who Made it Snow’ alongside his ‘Southpaw’ director Antoine Fuqua.
The novel – which was first published in 1990 – tells the true story of Max Mermelstein, who turned Pablo Escobar’s Medellin drug cartel into a billion-dollar enterprise, before turning his colleagues into the police.
The movie is being directed and produced by Antoine – who previously worked on ‘Olympus Has Fallen’ – and will be the first film created through the 48-year-old movie buff’s Fuqua Films banner since agreeing to a first-look development, production and financing deal with IM Global. – BANG!
