A GROUP of officers from the Islamic Studies Department (JPI) performed a working visit to Pai Yuek Primary School and Sultan Hassan Secondary School in Bangar, Temburong, which was co-organised by the Head Inspector of JPI’s office in the Temburong District and the Head of Islamic Religious Knowledge (IRK) Unit at JPI’s Inspectorate Section.
The main objectives of the visit were to ensure the smooth running of the teaching processes at both schools and assess the IRK teachers’ credibility, capabilities and charisma.
An open discussion was also held.
The visit was led by Ustazah Hjh Barizah binti Hj Ibrahim, Head Inspector of JPI’s office in the Temburong District, accompanied by Hasbi Mohd Suhaily, Head of Inspectorate Section, and Ustazah Hjh Salamah binti Hj Salleh, Head of IRK Unit. Also present were school inspectors of other units from Brunei-Muara, Tutong, Belait and Temburong districts.
