A DELEGATION from the Institute Al-Quran of Terengganu Darul Iman (IQT), Malaysia, yesterday made a visit to the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) Kenaziran Department as part of their two-day wor-king visit to Brunei.
Leading the delegates was the Director of IQT, Dato’ Dr Hj Alias bin Hj Abdullah, together with his deputy, the director of registrar, administration officers and se-nior staff members from the institute.
Among the visit’s objective was for the two organisations to further strengthen their ties and share their experience in current education system practices as well as to discuss opportunities for future student exchange programmes.
The IQT delegates arrived on Novem-ber 17 and has also visited the Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (ITQSHHB), Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Exhibition Gallery, Daru-lifta’ at the State Mufti’s Office and the Kg Ayer Cultural and Tourism Gallery, as well as performing Fardhu prayers at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah and Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.
A delegation from the MoE’s Kenaziran Department made a similar visit to the IQT in February this year.
