The event started with an ice-breaking session and continued with talks delivered by Ustaz Hisham bin Ismail from the Islamic Dakwah Centre and Dr Ustazah Hjh Rose binti Abdullah, a lecturer from the Faculty of Economy at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA).
Ustaz Hisham told the members of mosque youth that in order for them to better themselves they must change and the change must come from within.
Ustazah Hjh Rose binti Abdullah, meanwhile, highlighted the characteristics of a Muslim youth who will be the hope of the nation, such as piety, sincerity and high spirited.
She said, “Knowledge must be put into good use. If not, it is like a tree without fruits.”
