JAKARTA (Bernama) – Vice chairman of Indonesia’s government agency Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said the cabinet formed by President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo should be ‘transparent
and pro-people’, Indonesia’s Antara news agency reported.
“KPK is ready to provide directives on how each ministry and state agency should work based on transparency and people empowerment.
“This is the mandate of the Constitution,” said Busyro Muqoddas on Monday.
However, Busyro did not say when the directives will be issued to the cabinet.
“We are waiting for the government. If they have already held a cabinet meeting then
the sooner the instructions are carried out the better,” he said.
