Komala win basketball title

TEAM Komala took a 18-6 run against Team DHJ in the final four minutes of the fourth quarter to win 97-84 and emerge as the champion of the veteran category of the Mum Bakery basketball tournament yesterday.

According to Ken Kho, the team manager, “Our players including our bench are capable players. therefore we can rotate the players when the starters are in fatigue. I think this is the formula of our success in this competition.”

Third place went to went to LeApple team while GHK came in fourth place.

The trophies of the veteran category were sponsored by Palm Garden hotel.

In the U19 category, YTE Tiger came in first place followed by Team Dagger in second place and Legend in third position.

The trophies were sponsored by Mum Bakery.
