Inter-school takraw championship

THE Inter-School Takraw Championship organised by Education Co-Curriculum Department, Ministry of Education and hosted by Sayyidina Umar Al-Khattab started yesterday at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the Sports School in Pulaie.

In the Under-15 category, Brunei Sports School defeated Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien College 15-3, 15-10 and Menglait Secondary School lost to Sultan Hasan Secondary School Temburong 6-15, 15-12, 11-15.

In the Under-17 category, Sultan Hasan Secondary School Temburong beat Sultan Muhammad Jamalul Alam Secondary School 15-7, 15-12.

The championship will continue today with the semifinals and the finals will be held on Thursday.
